Which businesses were new, renewed, or reduced this week?

There are some noteworthy new projects and expansion announcements in this week's edition of Around the State.

New!

NW Wine Company purchased 35 acres of land in Dundee for a winery and tasting room. Construction is scheduled to be completed by this fall's harvest. News-Register, 4/6/2011


Renewed!!

After a nine-month hiatus, Angela's Mexican Food reopened in Grants Pass. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 4/16/11

Buildings in Medford are being torn down to make room for a long-awaited $32-million downtown revitalization project that will feature a new headquarters for Lithia Motors as its centerpiece. The project, known as The Commons, had languished since 2006. Mail Tribune, 4/13/2011


Unfortunately there was also one large reduction in this week's announcements:

The Salem-Keizer School District will lay off 192 classified employees in June due to budget cuts. The cuts will save the district about $7.7 million. Statesman Journal, 4/19/2011
