Food and Drink Around the State!
This week we have several new business announcements around the state with a variety of food and drink options!
- Sugartree Juice Co., offering juices and
smoothies, opened at Sugartree Farm's produce stand near Winston.

- New Seasons will open a store on North
Lombard Street in Portland in 2016. The Oregonian, 7/23/2014
- Cafe Yumm! opened in Wilsonville. Wilsonville

- Paleo Rage, a bakery offering
paleo-friendly desserts, opened in Newberg. The Newberg Graphic,

- Taps Drink-n-Fill, a growler station,
opened in Warrenton. The Daily Astorian, 7/17/2014
- Emmons Speciality Meats opened in Corvallis.

There were some other notable announcements too:
- Construction will begin in March on the Oregon
Museum of Science and Industry's Coastal Discovery Center in Newport.
It is expected to open in the spring of 2016. News-Times, 6/30/2014
- Relief Nursery, a program that helps
prevent abuse and neglect of small children, will open in Grants Pass Grants Pass Daily Courier, 6/27/2014.
It will employ four people. Relief Nursery is a private nonprofit with 23 sites
across Oregon.
- Fire destroyed the Springfield Plywood and
Veneer mill in Springfield, idling about 250 workers. The
