The "Wild" Side of Business Openings Around the State

This week, several businesses in our Around the State announcements have names that touch on nature and the wild.
  • Eagle Home Mortgage opened in Corvallis. Corvallis Gazette-Times, 3/11/2013 
  • Growl Movement, a bottle shop with more than 30 brews on tap, opened in Keizer. Keizertimes, 3/20/2013
  • Bluebird Bakers opened in northwest Portland. It offers cookies, coffee, tea, and milk. It also offers cookies for dogs. Neighborhood Notes, 3/5/2013 
  • Baker Botanicals opened in Baker City. It offers indoor and organic gardening supplies. Baker City Herald, 3/13/2013 
  • The first load of chips left Southport Forest Products' new intermodal barge facility on Coos Bay's North Spit this month. Southport and the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay partnered to obtain ConnectOregon I funding for the intermodal marine freight project. The World, 2/28/2013
