Business Relocations and Expansions Around the State

Several businesses in Southern and Central Oregon made recent relocation announcements:
  • Grange Co-op plans to move its corporate headquarters from Central Point to Medford in June. Mail Tribune, 12/31/2012
  • ProBooks Consulting, a tax and bookkeeping business, has moved the firm to an office suite in Grants Pass. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 12/31/2012 
  • Key Technology, a manufacturer of specialty food processing equipment, will move to a 32,000-square-foot building in Redmond, doubling the company's space.  Key Technology will also add at least two new staff over the next year, bringing their employee count to 24.   • Smith Brothers Pushrods will move its 23 employees from Bend to a new location in Redmond. Redmond Economic Development, 12/20/2012
  •  PapĂ© Kenworth will relocate 10 employees to Redmond. Redmond Economic Development, 12/20/2012
A few other organizations also announced expansion and hiring plans:
  •  The Church of the Nazarene in Lincoln City is expanding to add a preschool. The News Guard, 12/26/2012 
  • Consumer Cellular, located in Redmond, will hire 25 new employees in January. This will bring their employee count to around 175. Redmond Economic Development, 12/20/2012 
  • South Lane County Fire and Rescue in Cottage Grove received a federal grant that will allow it to hire two paramedic firefighters for a two-year period. Cottage Grove Sentinel, 12/18/2012
