New and Unique Businesses Around the State

A good mix of new eateries appear in this week's list of business announcements: 
  • Top City Frozen Yogurt opened in Eugene. The News-Review, 6/22/2012 
  • The Yard House will open at Pioneer Place in downtown Portland, bringing with it 130 taps  of brew. The 400-seat restaurant will employ  200 people and is expected to open in late spring of 2013. KOIN, 7/10/2012 
  • Oceans Apart Restaurant, a Hawaiian eatery, opened in Lincoln City. It employs nine people. The News Guard, 7/11/2012
There are also a few new companies with unique business concepts:
  • All American Bingo will open in Grants Pass. Two nonprofit organizations, Home For Good and U-Turn for Christ, teamed up to host games, with a portion of the earnings to benefit the organizations. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 7/11/2012 
  • Ravenswood Leather, a Renaissance leather clothing maker, opened a retail location in Medford. Mail Tribune, 7/5/2012
