The 100 Best Employers in Oregon

What makes a great place to work? Robust health care plans, with alternative care and wellness options, along with inspired leadership, collaboration, caring, and of course, fun!

Oregon Business magazine received this input from more than 20,000 employees from over 300 companies to determine the recently published 2010 list of Best Companies to Work for in Oregon. Organizations were judged on several categories, including benefits and compensation, work environment, decision-making and trust, performance management, and career development.

Top honors for the small business category went to Pittman & Brooks PC. This Portland-based firm employs 22, and provides tax and accounting services. Oregon Cascade Plumbing & Heating, headquartered in Salem, earned the #1 spot for medium businesses. Microsoft Corporation's Portland operations led the way as the best large company.
