Oregon governor says "hello" to local manufacturers

Last week, Oregon governor Ted Kulongoski stopped by a pair of successful manufacturing businesses in McMinnville, as reported by the Yahmill Valley News Register in this article.

The companies he visited were Betty Lou's, a snack food maker, and William Henry Knives, which creates luxury goods for men. Both companies have not only weathered the recession, they've been thriving in recent times.

To find out more about the governer's trip and what makes these businesses special, please see the full article (http://web.newsregister.com/news/results.cfm?story_no=259873).
