One of our blog readers today asked us for information on a specific occupation (engineers). We thought this would be a good opportunity to share a tool from the main website, http://www.qualityinfo.org/.
If you check out the website, you'll notice there are some Data Tools on the left side of the homepage, including a link to Occupations. When you click on this link and then on the tool "Occupational Information Center", you can search for info on a specific occupation...
Once you find the occupation you want and pick a geographic area of the state, you will get a webpage with detailed info about the education and skill requirements, statewide and local wages, current and furture employment numbers, and even current job openings! There are also links to related occupations.
So Dan (and our other readers), check it out and let us know what you think!
