Two stories we've picked up early this week are both local and national in scope. First, several reports this morning detail President Obama's proposed 2012 budget, which was released yesterday. Mr. Obama will be visiting Intel's campus in Hillsboro this Friday. Budget items won't be the focus of his visit though. Instead, the President is expected to tour Intel's facility and learn about the company's STEM* program, which is designed to better prepare students to compete for high-tech jobs.
