Health Services News Around the State

This week's Around the State Business News announcements include several new health services.
  •  Elite Care opened 24 new senior residential suites at its Oatfield Estates in Oak Grove. Clackamas Review, 6/4/2014
  • Sea Mar Community Centers, a health care provider, will open at Hiddenbrook Terrace in southeast Vancouver in October. The Columbian, 6/2/2014
  • Willamette Integrative Health, a naturopathic clinic, opened in Wilsonville. Wilsonville Spokesman, 6/18/2014 
  •  My Street Grocery opened in Portland. A health food store on wheels from Whole Foods Market, it partners with Portland-area health clinics to make fresh, healthy food more accessible. It operates four days a week. Location varies by day. The Oregonian, 6/4/2014
There were a few other large announcements too:
  • Bornstein Seafoods purchased Astoria Pacific Seafoods' lease at the Port of Astoria, tripling its freezing capacity. It expects to hire 200 temporary workers for the new addition. The Daily Astorian, 6/5/2014
  • North River Boats in Roseburg added a second shift and is recruiting for skilled workers. It currently employs 110 people. The News-Review, 6/15/2014
  • Kmart in Albany will close in September, laying off 64 people. Albany Democrat-Herald, 6/12/2014
