This Week's Oregon Business News

There are a number of exciting business openings in Oregon this week, including many that will help make sure you have a unique spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
  • The Subterranean, a restaurant offering pasta, steaks, chicken dishes, and Tex-Mex, opened in Hood River. Hood River News, 12/6/2013
  • On a Whymm, a home décor and fashion accessories store, opened in Cornelius. The Oregonian, 11/29/2013
  • AppNexus, a New York-based Internet advertising technology firm, opened an office in downtown Eugene. It employs three people and plans to hire more. The Register-Guard, 11/17/2013
  • Nonna, an Italian restaurant, will open in northeast Portland. The Oregonian, 12/5/2013
  • CR Fabrication & Cascade GSE is expanding its manufacturing operation in Redmond. It produces aircraft ground support systems and structural support and I-beam components for large buildings and warehouses. Cascade Business News, 12/3/2013

  • Deadwood Pizza and Video in Joseph will close. Wallowa County Chieftain, 12/4/2013
  • Brookings Inn Resort, that included a motel, conference center, and restaurant, closed. It employed 35 to 50 people depending on the season. Curry Coastal Pilot, 12/11/2013
