Business Openings and Closings Around Oregon

This week's summary of business changes around Oregon includes a wide variety of openings along with a few closings.

Openings and Expansions:
  • Luckini Construction of Newport expanded and moved to new headquarters. It now employs 12 people. News-Times, 12/11/2013
  • Moxie Dance Theatre, a dance school, opened in West Linn. Portland Business Journal, 12/6/2013
  • Nicko Accessories opened in southeast Portland. It offers rhinestone and silver accessories, handbags, and gifts from Thailand. The Bee, 11/29/2013
  • Matsell's Home Improvement, a building supply showroom, opened in Tillamook. Headlight-Herald, 12/11/2013
  • Jefferson Spirits, a bar, opened in downtown Medford. Mail Tribune, 12/10/2013
  • Crescent Park Senior Living, a 119-unit assisted care facility, is under construction in Eugene. It is expected to be completed by October 2014. The Register-Guard, 12/2/2013

  • Gary Cooley, an acclaimed sculptor, opened a gallery in Sisters. The Nugget Newspaper, 12/17/2013
  • Face Rock Creamery in Bandon expanded production to accommodate online sales and distribution to 12 stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. It employs 17 people, but could double that number if sales increase as projected. Bandon Western World, 12/5/2013
