Benton
County continued to have Oregon’s lowest seasonally adjusted unemployment rate
in June at 6.0 percent. Harney County (13.0%) registered the highest rate for
the month. Fourteen of Oregon’s counties had unemployment rates at or below the
statewide rate of 7.9 percent. Lake and Crook counties saw the largest
improvements in their unemployment rates over the year, with a drop of 1.7
percentage points to 11.5 percent and 12.6 percent, respectively.
