Big, New Businesses Around the State

This week our Around the State business news includes some big announcements! Several construction projects are in the works for new businesses:
  • Kaiser Permanente will build a medical clinic at Keizer Station. It will employ more than 10 physicians and 50 medical support staff. Keizertimes, 6/20/2013 
  • Heartwood Place Memory Care, an $8.5-million, 31-unit facility, is under construction in Woodburn. Woodburn Independent, 6/18/2013 
  • Construction began on a new headquarters for Northwest Community Credit Union in Eugene. About 150 people will initially be employed at the $24.5-million, 67,000-square-foot building, with capacity to expand to 300. The Register-Guard, 6/16/2013 
  • Gramor Development plans to build a six-building, 65,000-square-foot commercial development called Kruse Village in Lake Oswego by the fall of 2014. It will include shops, restaurants, and medical offices. The Oregonian, 6/14/2013 
  • The Coos County Historical Society will break ground on a new museum in Coos Bay this month. It will feature five themed galleries with changing displays and will open in the fall of 2014. The World, 6/15/2013
