New Businesses Around the State

OREGON COAST
  • Uptown by Serendipity restaurant will open in Warrenton. It will employ 35 to 40 people. Coast River Business Journal, 11/15/2012
  • Pulling the Pros Sports Cards opened in Newport. It offers sports memorabilia. News-Times, 11/28/2012 
SOUTHERN OREGON
  • The Mount Ashland Ski Area is training 80 new hires and prepping the mountain for ski season. Forty returning employees will also be working at the mountain during the season. KDRV, 11/27/2012
  • The Rogue Hack Lab opened in Medford. It provides 24-hour access and infrastructure for technical and creative projects and events. Projects being worked on include robotics, introductory electronics for youngsters, Lego robotics, 3-D printer work, and software. Mail Tribune, 11/16/2012

  • Crook County Cowboys and Cowgirls Apparel opened in Prineville. Central Oregonian, 11/6/2012

EASTERN OREGON
  •  KC Computers opened in Hermiston. It offers computer repair, computer construction, parts, and information technology support. The Hermiston Herald, 11/10/2012
