Businesses Around the State Come to You!

This week we have announcements from two businesses that are turning the process of purchasing goods and services on its head. Instead of the customer visiting their establishments, these businesses bring their goods and services to you!
  • Sweethedge Grill, a mobile restaurant, opened in Forest Grove. It offers smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, and babyback ribs. The Oregonian, 3/31/2011
  • Lindsey's Windshield Specialists, a mobile repair business, will open a storefront in Molalla. Molalla Pioneer, 3/29/2011

Other highlights from this week's edition of Around the State include:
  • ENTEK International will add two production lines at its manufacturing facility in Lebanon, one this year and the other in 2013. The expansion will add 16 to 20 jobs. Lebanon Express, 3/30/2011
  • The Baker County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for a mining operation near Bridgeport. Weather permitting, Mineral Valley LLC plans to hire 10 to 12 workers and begin work by April 1. Baker City Herald, 3/30/2011
  • New Seasons Market will open in east Vancouver in October. The construction project will employ about 200 people and the store will employ about 175 workers. Portland Business Journal, 3/29/2011
