Food Around the State

This week's Around the State announcements have food options in every region! Here are some new dining spots near you:

Eastern Oregon
Kauffman's Market opened near Island City. It features a bakery, deli, and on-site lunch specials. The Observer, 1/5/2011

Portland and Surrounding Areas
Little Bird, a French-inspired restaurant, opened in southwest Portland. Neighborhood Notes, 1/4/2011

Playdate PDX opened in northwest Portland. In addition to a children's play area, it features a café offering espresso, beer, wine, pastries, paninis, pizza, and several kid-friendly menu options. Neighborhood Notes, 1/4/2011


Southern and Central Oregon

Hannah's Restaurant at Historic Steam Laundry, offering Southern cuisine, will open in Grants Pass. It will employ 32 people. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 1/8/2011

Boken, an Asian-influenced restaurant, will open in Bend. The Bulletin, 1/7/2011

Willamette Valley
Dallas Burger CharGrill Chicken Basket will open in Dallas. Polk County Itemizer-Observer

Holy Cow Foods, an organic vegetarian café will open a second Eugene location. It will employ 22 people. The Register-Guard, 1/2/2011

Oregon Coast
The Lovin' Spoonfull restaurant and bar opened in Lincoln City. The News Guard, 1/12/11

Miller's at The Cove - a restaurant offering seafood, steaks, appetizers, and sandwiches - opened in Charleston. The World, 1/1/2011
