An increase in post-Thanksgiving shoppers, spending

Normally I don't mention national news stories on Monday (we like to save those for Fridays), but since last Wednesday's post mentioned the vast shopping opportunities available for the weekend, it seems appropriate to share a follow-up story. Specifically, I'm talking about yesterday's New York Times, which featured an article about the weekend shopping spree. In brief sum, the number of post-Thanksgiving shoppers increased this year, as did the average amount spent by shoppers. The article also shares quite a bit of info about the growing trend of post-Thanksgiving online shopping.
