Unemployment rate highlights for September:
Crook County had the highest rate (19.0%)
Gilliam County had the lowest rate (6.2%)
From September 2009 to September 2010:
- Harney County saw the largest drop in its rate, by 2.0 percentage points (from 17.8% to 15.8%).

- Harney County saw the largest drop in its rate, by 2.0 percentage points (from 17.8% to 15.8%).
- Wheeler saw the largest increase (from 8.4% to 12.0%). Fourteen other counties also experienced an increase over the year.
- Ten counties saw essentially no change in their rates.
