In the news: Ag Survey, Intel, and Medical Leave Laws

It's pretty neat when projects you're working on get a nod in the local newspaper. For instance, we're conducting a survey of agriculture employment in Oregon (for the first time in 15 years!), and the Statesman Journal took notice:

Our second bit of news was spun from the rumor mill, so take it with a grain of salt: Intel might be planning an expansion. If the conjecture is true, it's certainly good news for the economy.

Today's final story again comes from the Statesman Journal. The paper recently shared a series of articles on the medical leave laws OFLA and FMLA. It's good info for anyone who needs to take time off from work for medical reasons -- you might qualify for one or both types of medical leave: www.statesmanjournal.com/article/20100822/BUSINESS01/8220305/1040/ARCHIVE
