Wait... What did you call it?!

We sure enjoyed the creative business names we saw in the latest Around the State. They included:

The Dapper Frog gallery, which will open in Portland’s Pearl District in July. (News Register, 5-25-10)

Time Bomb, a clothing store where customers can exchange brand-name attire for in-store credit or cas. It opened in Coos Bay. (The World, 6-5-10)

Kryptiq Corp., a software company in Hillsboro that produces software used by health care providers. The company employs about 88 people and plans to increase its workforce to around 100 by the end of the year. (The Oregonian, 6-15-10)

Hillbilly Barbecue Grill, which opened in Lebanon. (Lebanon Express, 6-16-10)

Also, for our regular readers: One of the business announcements would have fit well into our ATS post two weeks ago...

Divine Dog Boarding opened in Stayton. It features nine hotel-style kennels called “divine suites.” Some suites feature TVs and webcams so owners can log onto the company’s website to check on their dog while they are away. Statesman Journal, 6-7-10
