Which animal says "woof"?

Although there were quite a few restaurant openings announced in this week's around the state, something else caught our eye: New businesses for our furry friends! They inclue grooming, daycare, and... dining?...

Clip-N-Suds, a mobile pet grooming business, opened in Medford. Medford Mail Tribune, 4-22-10

Top of the Line House and Pet Sitting Service opened in Carlton. News-Register, 5-11-10

Sniff Dog Hotel, a kennel and dog day care, will open in Portland’s Pearl District. It will feature elaborate plumbing and ventilation systems to help eliminate the dog park smell. Daily Journal of Commerce, 5-12-10

Petals & Paws, a pet boarding service...opened in Mill City. Statesman Journal, 5-9-10

Critter Café, a coffee shop that caters to dogs, opened in Shady Cove. The restaurant only cooks for pets but humans can order coffee, tea, juice, and baked goods prepared off-site. For the furry customers, menu items include French toast, chicken hearts with gizzards, breakfast rice, Bowser biscuits and gravy, and wieners and cheese. Medford Mail Tribune, 5-20-10
