More LNG pipeline news, a career fair, and... cereal?

Recently we shared a news article about an LNG pipeline to be built from Wyoming to Malin. Another pipeline affecting Oregon, this time near Astoria, was mentioned in the news last week: A project on the Columbia at Bradwood Landing was suspended due to continued delays with permits and financing. More information is available in the Oregonian article and in the Register-Guard article.

High school students in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties had the opportunity to attend a career fair about construction jobs last week. You can read about their experiences in the Statesman Journal.

And finally, since we love to talk about food: The Register-Guard reported last week that Golden Temple, a Eugene-based cereal manufacturer, has likely found a buyer in Hearthside Food Solutions of Michigan. The sale is currently pending. Find out more in the full article.
