- Crystal Creek Meats is renovating a meat processing plant east of Roseburg. It will employ 10 to 20 people when it opens. The News-Review, 3/31/2014

- Fred Meyer in Grants Pass is undergoing a $6.8-million renovation that will add a sushi/salad bar and a sporting-goods desk that sells guns. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 3/8/2014
Closings:
- Welch Allyn Inc., a medical device manufacturer in Beaverton, will lay off 84 workers at the end of next month. Portland Business Journal, 4/2/2014
